How to Turn a Negative into a Positive

Tips to Turn a Negative into a Positive

Turn a negative into a positiveAre you a negative thinker, or do you know the influence on your life that comes from turning a negative into a positive? It is easier for most to think negatively. It is somehow easier for most people. But you should learn to ban negativity. When you focus on turning a negative into a positive, it takes work, but the results will be astounding.

Viewing the world with this type of perception on a continuous basis is toxic to the mind and body. The more you think of something the greater the chance that something negative will continue to exist. Like attracts like, so if a person is bitter or angry most times, he or she will continue to attract negative situations into their life. On the flipside, a person who finds the positive in every situation whether it is a positive situation or a negative, will be successful inevitably.

There is energy everywhere that cannot be seen, but is definitely felt. When you are near someone who is negative, there is a desire to keep your distance. You may not know exactly why, but it is this kind of energy is a repellent to all positive people and actions. There is an uncomfortable and heavy feeling that surrounds negative people and others simply don’t want to be around that person.

Negativity and pessimism will invade all aspects of your life, so it’s extremely important to learn how to turn a negative into a positive.

How do you View the World?

It starts right there. If you are that person, who thinks everyone is out to make your life miserable, the chances are you are right. Not because it is true but because you think, it’s true. It’s because you’ve attracted those situations to you. Likewise, if you see the many wonderful and positive things in the world, your energy works like a magnet to attract even more positive.

Several techniques exist to help you shift from negative to positive and a few are listed below.

The Use of Affirmations

An affirmation is announcing something repeatedly until it becomes a belief system. In most cases, this is done via self-talk. An affirmation can be negative or positive. In fact, we do it all the time. Sadly, it is usually negative affirmation rather than positive ones. Stop and learn to change that right now.

When you affirm something repeatedly, you have the power to bring that into real existence. If you can accept that to be something true, why not make the choice to turn the negative self chatter into positive responses usingpositive affirmations. Some examples are as follows:

 • I am capable of completing this task rather than this task is too hard.
 • I am worthy of  happiness rather than I will never be happy.
 • I deserve joy from life rather than life sucks.
 • I am never going to meet Mr. or Mrs. Right. Instead say Mr. or Mrs. Right will come in grace and perfect ways.

Use Self Hypnosis to Turn a Negative into a Positive

When you think of self-hypnosis you may picture being told to bark like a dog or quack like a duck, but that is television and media. In fact, hypnosis doesn’t work that way. It is a means by which the recipient is assisted by a professional to go deeper in the subconscious to deal with something that may be manifesting negatively. The individual does self-hypnosis alone as the name suggests and it is less formal. In a sense, it is a way to drill home your affirmations and to make you believe. It is easy to learn.

It works like this: Find a comfortable, quiet spot where you will go uninterrupted for at least 15-30 minutes. You can sit or lie down, play soft music or not, and burn a candle or not. The idea is to be as comfortable as you can be so you can open your mind and relax. Take several slow and deep breaths to unwind. At first, focus on counting to five slowly as you breathe in, and five counts as you breathe out. Repeat this breathing exercise for a few minutes and then, in your head, begin reciting an affirmation of your choice.  Find one that really hits home with you.

Doing this exercise each night before falling off to sleep is an efficient way to turn a negative thought into a positive one.

This is a favorite affirmation which I often give to my clients when they begin to feel overwhelmed or they feel stuck. “I believe that I have the power to make my dreams come true, and I grow in strength with every forward step I take.”

Learning to turn a negative into a positive takes practice and effort. The same way it takes practice to learn to do anything well. You have to practice and focus at first, and then it becomes second nature.

Using Tools to Turn a Negative into a Positive

Listen to positive thought CDs or your iPod while you drive to work, take a bath or a walk in nature. CDs also exist that will help with self-hypnosis if you don’t want to make up your own affirmations to say during your sessions.

Here’s a free book of affirmations with my compliments and as a thank you for reading my post. “Positive Affirmations For Success.” I hope you enjoy it.

Journaling is another effective way to change your thoughts from negative to positive. There is something soothing about putting pen to paper and writing out how beautiful you want your life to be. After a while, you will be able to recall these positive experiences whenever a negative thought tries to occupy the same space. This is a great method for learning to turn a positive into a negative. It’s a big adjustment so get help and support if you need it, until changing those thoughts becomes second nature.

Do the Work

Turning the channel from negative self-talk to that of positive self-talk is the beginning of a transformation in your thinking and life, and it will take work to make it effective.

Positive self-talk doesn’t mean to delude yourself into believing the elephant isn’t in the room. It means that you recognize that there may be areas of improvement without self-sabotage.  If you are obese, telling yourself you aren’t isn’t helping your health. However, telling yourself that you can work out more and eat right more often because you deserve to be in the best health for yourself and your family, is realistic.

Brilliant words from Ralph Waldo Emerson; “When you finish each day be done with it. What you have done you cannot change. Tomorrow is another day that you can choose to begin with the highest spirit.”

When you learn how you turn a negative into a positive with practice and methods listed here, you will not only change a negative mindset, you will completely change your life.

Attitude is Everything

Ban Negativity As Attitude is Everything

Attitude is Everything

Attitude is EverythingThere is a lot written about the importance of having a great attitude if you expect to reap the benefits of success, and yet so many people just don’t make the connection that attitude is everything. What if your attitude determined your happiness, would you concentrate more on having the right attitude? Well consider yourself enlightened. Because a positive mental attitude makes a difference in everything and is the foundation to success in all areas off your life including; relationships, creating wealth and benefitting from a thriving business. But it all comes down to the outlook you have and the way you deal with people and events. In other words, you need to remember that attitude is everything. Your attitude is your personal power to succeed or fail. A positive attitude is a can do attitude – meaning you can do anything you set your mind to.

Let me give you an example of how attitude affects everything; would you prefer doing business with from a smiling, pleasant person, or dealing with someone with a scowl and a negative attitude? We have all been there – having to put up with someone that is surly and difficult deal with. You can’t wait to get far away from someone like that.

Why is Attitude so Important

Most people would agree that the mind is powerful and that without it the body could not exist. Attitude or your state of mind is equally as powerful to how you see the world. Seeing the world through a positive attitude yields positive results. Likewise, seeing the world via a negative attitude will yield negative results. Can it really be that simple? Yes, it certainly can!

A Mind Shift to Attitude is Everything

The word “attitude” is associated typically with a person who is in a bad mood. You rarely hear someone say “check your attitude,” or “they need an attitude adjustment,”when they’re referring to a person with a pleasant temperament. Attitude means more than just shifting your mood for the moment. It is more about a shift in your perception overall. Your attitude, whether positive or negative, is a choice. At every moment you alone make the decision to be optimistic or pessimistic about a particular situation— not anybody else. Although attitude can be influenced by life’s challenges, the mind-set choice is ultimately up to you. You have the power to sway your perception either positively or not. Your attitude is everything and can alter the way your day and life shapes up, one way or another – from good to great or from bad to downright awful.

There is something called law of attraction, which states that what you think about most is what you bring about most. If you can believe that such a law exists in the universe then consider how your attitude could influence how you progress in your life. Let’s look at an example, John had a rough upbringing and he saw his parents constantly struggle, only to get nowhere. His attitude or perception of life might be negative because of that.  John goes through his teens thinking, life is just too hard and no matter what he does, he is going nowhere. In a similar example, Janet was raised to think that anything is possible and that life is good overall, even though there can be difficult times. A supportive single mother who told Janet often that she was special and capable of anything, garnered her a positive attitude. It was reinforced that she could do pretty well anything that she wanted in life as long as she was willing to work at it and that she was not defined by her circumstances. Now that John and Janet are adults, who do you think is responsible for John not having much and Janet for having a life of abundance? If you answered John is responsible for his life and Janet is responsible for her life you are absolutely right. But, it was each of their different attitudes towards life that got them there.

Attitude is Everything–Taking Responsibility for Yours

By now, the benefit of a positive outlook on life should be obvious, but for so many knowing how to take responsibility for their attitude is a challenge. It starts now! Where you are presently in your life should be your focus. It is never too late to make positive changes and you own your attitude which means you can make the desired changes. How your attitude sucked before doesn’t matter. What matters is that you are willing to take responsibility for it now.

Adopting a positive outlook is as easy as being actively present and seeing the light in every situation. No one expects that you should go around with a permanent smile pasted on your face even in the dark times, but when you are grounded with a positive attitude, it reinforces internal strength. Having a positive attitude means being realistic about the situation as opposed to expecting doom and gloom. It means taking action and not expecting that just positive thoughts will bring about the results you expect. It means more than just wishful thinking. Building a positive outlook starts from within. If you are more like John in the example above, there is still hope. However, personal work is necessary to make a shift in your attitude towards life. Start now to make adjustments and you will quickly see changes begin to occur – good changes.

How to Develop the Attitude that Serves You

Switch Channels. Begin understanding the power of positive affirmations and use them daily.  Decide now that you will replace the negative, non-productive self-talk with positive, affirming conversations with self. For example, if you often say, “life sucks.” “This is too difficult.” “I will never be happy.” It is time to replace this type of negative conversation with “Life if good.” “I am more than capable to meet this challenge.” “I am willing to do more for myself to bring forth some happiness.” “I am strong and in control and nothing will beat me down.”

Ease up. Life can be challenging but remind yourself that you are never given more than you can handle. Think about how mundane life would be if everything turnout the way you always expected. It is about the journey not the destination. It’s about how you handle situations and begin to expect good things to happen, not anticipating the worst.

Re-evaluate the people that you associate with. By networking and hanging out with positive people, you remain more positive. The overall energy will shift to positive. You will find that you have more energy and a sincere willingness to do more.  Likewise, if most of your friends are naysayers it is time to ask yourself why you need them in your life. The only purpose they serve is to sabotage your positive attitude.

If you are still think that having a positive attitude is easier said than done, then why not challenge yourself for one week and see what happens? What have you got to lose – a negative attitude? Surround yourself with positive people, place, situations and focus on reading positive quotes.

Positive Attitude Quotes

“When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” Wayne Dyer

“Our attitudes control our lives. Attitudes are a secret power working twenty-four hours a day, for good or bad. It is of paramount importance that we know how to harness and control this great force.” Tom Blandi

“Sometimes we are limited more by attitude than by opportunities.” Anonymous

“Attitude is the determining factor between success or defeat, happiness or sadness, and between growth or immaturity.” Anonymous

People, who are positive and truly understand that attitude is everything, are internally stronger, have more happiness in their life and have less emotional reaction and attachment to unpleasant situations.

A Positive Mental Attitude

A Positive Mental Attitude Makes A Difference in Everything

Increase Personal Success With A Positive Mental Attitude

A Positive Mental Attitude

Having a positive mental attitude is one of the most potent tools you can possess in your life. It can propel you to greatness, joy and is a proven secret to success, and is a powerful asset to get you though struggles and disappointments. Without it, you are lost in an ocean of negativity and unhappiness and constantly struggling to wonder why.

There’s a great old song written by Johnny Mercer way back in the 1940s and made famous by Bing Crosby and The Andrews Sisters called Accentuate the Positive whose lyrics say the following:

You’ve got to accentuate the positive
Eliminate the negative
Latch on to the affirmative
Don’t mess with Mister In-Between

You’ve got to spread joy up to the maximum
Bring gloom down to the minimum
Have faith or pandemonium
Liable to walk upon the scene

What is a Positive Mental Attitude?

The lyrics of the song are the epitome of having a positive mental attitude. Although positive thinking has been around forever, it was first developed as a real concept by Napoleon Hill in his 1937 book Think and Grow Rich, although he didn’t coin the phrase until later book with W. Clement Stone called Success Through a Positive Mental Attitude. That’s when he defined it as “The right mental attitude… comprised of the ‘plus’ characteristics symbolized by such words as faith, integrity, hope, optimism, courage, initiative, generosity, tolerance, tact, kindliness and good common sense.”

Why Have a Positive Mental Attitude?

Some people will read the lyrics of the song and the definition of a positive mental attitude and roll their eyes. They may think it’s kind of corny and they’ll say it’s not very realistic. Maybe, but these are the same negative thinking people who doom themselves to constant failure because they get stuck in their so-called “realism,” which ends up being nothing more than a life-deadening pessimism.
But what if your reality is determined at least in part by how you think? What if there really are self-fulfilling prophecies? That may sound like a cliché, but the reason it’s a cliché is because there is some truth to it! If there is even a small chance that the way I think about things might affect the outcomes of my actions, you can sure bet that I would want to be on positive side of that thinking rather than the negative side. That’s why I think it’s better to have a positive mental attitude. I use it to align everything in my life to the positive goals I want to accomplish. I firmly believe that people would find more success in their lives if they embraced positive mental attitudes. Many studies have also shown that people with a positive mental attitude are healthier! Doesn’t that sound like a good thing to you? That alone is reason enough to give it a chance.

Where Can You Find a Positive Mental Attitude?

If you’re used to leaning towards the negative side of things, you have to make a real effort to consciously and actively oppose defeatism, negativity and hopelessness. A positive mental attitude can only be found within yourself. Positive thinkers don’t expect bags of money to fall into their laps just because they think about it. They understand that they still need to take action. That’s where courage and confidence comes in. Positive thinkers have fears and doubts just like anyone else, but the key is that they find the courage to act in spite of their fear. They draw on their positive mental attitude to dispel the fear and move forward because they believe they can accomplish their goals. If you look inside and can’t see it, don’t worry! There are things you can do to begin developing a positive mental attitude.

4 Tips on How to Develop a Positive Mental Attitude

1. Self-Talk. This is a simple technique often used by business people and athletes to maintain focus on their goals. You simply keep telling yourself positive things about yourself and your goals. “I feel terrific today,” “I am making great progress on my goals,” “I can do it,” and “I feel healthier every day,” are all examples of self-talk. Give it a try and see what it can do for you!

2. Positive Language. Pay attention to the words you typically use. If you hear a lot of words like never, can’t, won’t or phrases like I need or I should, try to start consciously replacing those with I choose, I will and I want. You may be surprised at the difference it makes.

3. Spend Time with Positive People. We are all very much affected by the people with whom we spend our time. Surrounding yourself with positive people is one of the best things you can do to develop your own positive mental attitude. Think about it, we have all experienced what it’s like when a negative person brings everyone down around them. Why not try the opposite? Being around positive people is infectious.

4. Take disappointments in stride. We all have disappointments to contend with in life, but just because everything doesn’t all turn out the way we think  it should, doesn’t mean you should just give up on your goals. The truth is, if you knew how many disappointments those who made great changes in the world had, you might be shocked. But they never gave up. They never allowed disappointments to keep them from their quest. They remained positive and so should you. Perseverance and a positive mental attitude is what get amazing results.

In the end, if you want to see positive results in your life, you must learn to actively pursue positive choices and expect positive outcomes. If accomplishing your goals depends a great deal on having a positive mental attitude, then start developing one for yourself today!

Millionaire Mindset

The Millionaire Mindset Can Make Your Dreams a Reality

Learn to Adopt The Millionaire Mindset

The Millionaire MindsetIf the success and wealth you dream of remains just that, unfulfilled dreams, then you’re probably lacking what could be the single most important factor that will determine your success: The Millionaire Mindset. Not only do you need to learn to become success conscious, but you need to become wealth conscious to attract wealth. By adopting the millionaire mindset, your life will become infinitely more prosperous.

What you believe about yourself makes all the difference in world when it comes to attaining your goals. But if you don’t believe you can do it, can you change that? Yes, you can! That’s good news for everyone. The key is to change how you think about things. I’m talking about shifting away from a mindset of scarcity (a negative approach in which the glass is always seen as half empty), a feeling of never having enough and move towards a mindset of abundance (a positive approach in which the glass is always half full, and getting fuller all the time!). Let’s take a closer look at exactly what goes into the millionaire mindset.

Key Elements of the Millionaire Mindset

Creating POSITIVE self-fulfilling prophecies. We’ve all heard of “self-fulfilling prophecies,” but it’s usually in the context of not jinxing yourself into a negative outcome. But you can utilize this in its opposite form as well to set up self-fulfilling prophecies that are in line with your goals! Rather than saying something like “I don’t see how I could ever become a millionaire,” you say things to yourself like “Becoming a millionaire is easy and I’m well on my way.” Repeat such phrases to yourself as often as you can, or print them out and put them up in places where you see them frequently. As you begin to believe to these statements, you will naturally start to see and do the things that will make it become a reality. Rather than merely wanting to be rich, commit yourself to being rich. It’s a subtle but powerful difference in mindset.

Acting the Part. If you want to become a millionaire, then start acting like one! Obviously you can’t go around spending like a millionaire… or can you? You may be surprised to find out that most self-made millionaires are really quite frugal with both their money and their time. Don’t spend just for the sake of spending. Only spend money on the things you really, really want. If you want them badly enough, that positive energy will work to help attract the money needed to make them happen. Expect the money to come and you’ll start seeing your way towards it. If you act the part long enough, it will become embedded in your subconscious mind, which is much more powerful than your conscious mind in making your dreams come true.

Drivers of Change. In the millionaire mindset, you are never satisfied with the status quo. You have a strong drive to want to change the status quo, to always strive for more. Yes, you will feel doubts and insecurities along the way. In the millionaire mindset, however, you don’t get stuck there. You feel those feelings, own them and then set them aside and move forward. That’s what is known as courage, taking action in spite of fears and doubts. It involves practicing and being comfortable with taking risks to the point that you enjoy it. Only by taking such risks can you find out what you’re really capable of.

Key Differences Between The Millionaire Mindset and a Mediocre Mindset

Some of the things that set the millionaire mindset apart from a more mediocre mindset include the following:

Millionaire Mindset

 • I make my life
 • I act in spite of fear
 • I focus on opportunities
 • I play to win
 • I hang out with positive, successful people
 • I think “both/and”

Mediocre Mindset

 • Life just happens to me
 • I let fear stop me in my tracks
 • I focus on obstacles
 • I play to not lose
 • I hang out with negative people
 • I think “either/or”

This list could go on and on. Feel free to add your own items to it that are particularly relevant to you and your situation. Do you see the difference here between the mediocre mindset and the millionaire mindset? It’s all about the frame of mind that you cultivate within yourself. It’s really not rocket science. You just have to train yourself to start seeing things from the perspective of the millionaire mindset. The longer you do that, the more you will actually come to believe it. And the more you really believe it, the much more likely it is to actually come about in your own life. So what are you waiting for? Start cultivating the millionaire mindset today!

Quotes on Life Struggles

You Are Not Alone: Quotes on Life Struggles

Quotes on Life Struggles: This Too Shall Pass.

Quotes on Life Struggles

When you feel like life has handed you more challenges than you think you can possibly handle (and we all feel that way from time to time), it is important to realize what you can learn from quotes on life struggles. You are not alone! Billions of people throughout history have faced similar hardships. This article presents the collective wisdom of people throughout the ages who descended into the depths of adversity, and emerged victorious. Reading inspirational quotes on life struggles can help you find inner strength.

Quotes on Life Struggles Part 1: Oh great, another f—ing learning opportunity…

If that is how you feel when adversity comes your way, you might be in need of some reminders about the value of hardship. Not that you would seek it out, mind you, but you can at least have a better frame of mind when it comes your way, which is all but inevitable.

Adversity is the first path to truth. ~ Lord Byron ~

But the question remains, what truths will be revealed when your journey takes you through hardships and setbacks? There are quite a few things you might find. Here’s a sampling (with key points underlined):

Adversity is like a strong wind. It tears away from us all but the things that cannot be torn, so that we see ourselves as we really are. ~ Arthur Golden ~

Adversity has the effect of eliciting talents, which in prosperous circumstances would have lain dormant. ~ Horace ~

When the Japanese mend broken objects, they aggrandize the damage by filling the cracks with gold. They believe that when something’s suffered damage and has a history it becomes more beautiful.~ Barbara Bloom ~

If I had a formula for bypassing trouble, I would not pass it round.Trouble creates a capacity to handle it.  I don’t embrace trouble;that’s as bad as treating it as an enemy.  But I do say meet it as a friend, for you’ll see a lot of it and had better be on speaking terms with it.~ Oliver Wendell Holmes ~

All the adversity I’ve had in my life, all my troubles and obstacles, have strengthened me… You may not realize it when it happens, but a kick in the teeth may be the best thing in the world for you.  ~ Walt Disney ~

If good ol’ Uncle Walt could see the good that has come out of troubles and obstacles, surely we can all try to remember this when our luck seems to be going sour. We must actively seek out and claim the silver lining of each dark cloud that passes through our lives to avoid becoming mired in negativity.

Quotes on Life Struggles Part II: Practical Advice For Getting Through It

Now that you have a better frame of mind when setbacks come your way because you know that some good will come out of it, you probably still want to know how to get through the hardships when they do occur. Here is the sage advice from a variety of notable, quotable people:

When adversity strikes, that’s when you have to be the most calm. Take a step back, stay strong, stay grounded and press on. ~ LL Cool J ~

If you’re going through hell, keep going.  ~ Winston Churchill ~

In times of great stress or adversity, it’s always best to keep busy, to plow your anger and your energy into something positive. ~ Lee Iacocca ~

I learned to put 100 percent into what you’re doing. I learned about setting goals for yourself, knowing where you want to be and taking small steps toward those goals. I learned about adversity and how to get past it.~ Kristi Yamaguchi ~

I contend that not only can you laugh at adversity, but it is essential to do so if you are to deal with setbacks without defeat. ~ Allen Klein ~

Every problem has in it the seeds of its own solution. If you don’t have any problems, you don’t get any seeds.~ Norman Vincent Peale ~

When written in Chinese the word “crisis” is composed of two characters – one represents danger and the other represents opportunity.~ John F. Kennedy, address, 12 April 1959 ~

If you’re thinking that much of this article was just a variation on the well-known saying, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade, you’d be right. It may be a cliché, but the reason it’s a cliché is because there is truth in it! Dale Carnegie, an early personal development writer who penned the famous How to Win Friends and Influence People, gets the credit for coining the lemon-to-lemonade phrase.

I’ve presented these quotes in this article to help you with two things: Remembering that there is value in experiencing hardship and offering you some practical advice when you’re in the thick of it. I hope these quotes on life struggles help you in your time of need!

prosperity and abundance

Allow Prosperity and Abundance to Manifest into Your Life

3 Steps to More Prosperity and Abundance

prosperity and abundanceAre you lacking prosperity and abundance in your life?

If you believe that, start by asking yourself the following: Are you surrounded by loving friends and family? Do you have a stable job in the current unstable economy? Do you place trust in others and trust in yourself? Do you have a roof over your head, clothes in your closet and gas in your car? If you do, consider yourself right now, in this moment, in the perfect place to attract abundance and prosperity.

Overcome Negativity, Embrace Prosperity and Abundance

Are you prepared to take your prosperity and abundance to a whole new level? Are you ready to make all of your dreams come true? Living in prosperity and abundance comes easily to those who know ONE little secret: A positive thinking state of mind = prosperous and abundant life.

While in theory positive thinking isn’t complicated, it’s not such a natural practice to get into the habit of doing. After all, doesn’t negativity surround us? The news, the media, your gossiping co-worker on the next cubicle over, the President’s State of the Union Address, gridlock traffic on Monday morning, and even the small, routine challenges of your work day are covered in pessimistic events, ideas and opinions. However, if you tweak your thinking only slightly, then each negative event, news clip, commute, and weather report can become transformed into something good – and all because of how you look at it!

Prosperity and Abundance for the Skeptic

Positive thinking isn’t for couch potatoes. In fact, it takes a dedicated, diligent and strong individual to believe that just by looking through life’s glass-is-half-full goggles, their entire life can change.  Do you want to increase the amount of prosperity and abundance in your life, and multiple your life-success? Try transforming how you look at life’s negative mind traps – you know, those moments and situations in life that allow you to routinely feel negative. Switch your thinking from negative to positive and the wealth, relationships and career opportunities you’re waiting for will begin to manifest into your life.

The Prosperity and Abundance Mind Transformation

Take that dull Monday morning meeting for example.  In the past, it used to bore you to tears, but by tweaking your attitude into a positive one, that ‘dull’ meeting can now be replaced as an opportunity to ask your boss the questions you need to, in order to be productive at work. That long line at the coffee shop you usually loathe can offer you the ability to ‘pay it forward’ by purchasing a latte for the disgruntled man behind you.  And, as for your co-workers who routinely gossip about that one misfit at work? Turn the conversation around by saying something like: “Did you see what she was wearing? Gosh, she always looks so put together. It’s no wonder she’s up in sales this month!”

Here’s the thing about positivity. Not only does it have the potential to make you one zillion times more prosperous in life, but in the process, you’ll become one trillion times happier and fulfilled! If you’re out of the positive thinking loop (and thrive on drama, gossip and skepticism), here’s some pointers to get you moving in the right direction.

Ignore the Haters

No one is going to love your job performance, your craft, your creativity or (gasp!) your personality all of the time. When that happens, when you experience someone who tells you you’re simply not good enough, you’re not making the cut or you don’t have what it takes, reply positively! Wish them well, give gratitude for the fact that they’ve taught you something you can learn from and be on your way. If a negative thought pops in your head from time to time, that’s ok. Don’t resist it. Just acknowledge the thought and replace it with a positive one.

Allow Only You to Define You

Remember, nothing is as powerful as how you think of yourself. When the negativity in the world is just too much, when you’re surrounded by pessimistic comments from co-workers, when your partner is not acting supportive and when you just need a mental pick-me-up, put yourself on a mental ‘time-out’. Fill your mind up with positive thoughts such as:

 • Every day I give out love, and it’s returned to me, multiplied.
 • I am surrounded by unconditional love, kindness and positivity.
 • I am appreciative to be able to pay my bills with ease and know the Universe provides me with prosperity and abundance, thereafter.
 • I am lean, fit and healthy.
 • My body heals quickly and easily.
 • I nourish the mind and because of it, am in excellent health in both mind and body.
 • I trust the process of life.
 • I attract wealth into my life and am rewarded by praise from my colleagues. I produce creative, exciting products for my clients who continue to give me their continued business.

Use Your Imagination

Albert Einstein was right – Imagination is more important than knowledge. How can you best use yours?

Use it in the best way possible – through creative visualization, positive thinking and prosperity and abundance affirmations. By imagining that salary you want, that new car free of any mechanical problems, that relationship that allows you to feel unconditionally loved, that house of your very own, that fulfilling career – you will receive it. Thinking positively a few seconds here or a minute there can be used for the greater good and lead the way to more prosperity and abundance! Keep visualizing all that you want in your life, and pretty soon you will receive it. Positive thinking isn’t just a mindset. It’s a life-set. The life you imagine today is the life you’ll receive tomorrow!

Nothing has the power to transform your life as much a positive thought can. Create a positive thinking mindset, and receive an abundance of wealth, good health and loving relationships in return.

When you learn to use positive thinking, your life will change dramatically and the gifts of greater prosperity and abundance will be yours for the asking.

Limiting Beliefs

Limiting Beliefs for the Reckless Thinker

Are Limiting Beliefs Preventing Your Success?

Limiting BeliefsWhat do limiting beliefs do for you? Nothing good. Limiting beliefs happen when you don’t believe in yourself and your capabilities. This is an obstacle you must overcome. They stop you from reaching success from trying new things and prevent you from accomplishing the goals that will bring wealth and happiness. Maybe you had some kind of disappointment that caused you to stop believing in yourself at some point. Do you know what? Everyone in this life has had disappointment and there is not a person alive that has succeeded in everything they undertook.

The key is getting over it and moving on and trying again.  Eliminating beliefs will end up being a roadblock if you don’t learn to move past unpleasant situations and setbacks.

If you’re driving yourself crazy with your limiting beliefs, here’s the solution: come to a screeching halt!

Stop listening to that voice in your head. You know, the one that is your worst critic, the one that tells you you’re not good enough or smart enough or thin enough or capable enough. Whether you are dealing with a heartbreaking break-up, the loss of job you didn’t deserve, rejection of that book deal you worked so hard for, or the betrayal of your best friend, know this: those obstacles in life do not define you. Or more simply put: broaden your beliefs, and surge ahead toward the unknown road before you and create the life of your dreams.

No matter what hand you’re dealt in life, the good news is, it can be as great as you want it to be. All it takes is some creative thinking, imagination, faith in yourself and a slight tweak in your current environment. Are you surrounded by bright, happy, positive folks or dimly lit, miserable ones? Do you feel like you just don’t have what it takes to become a doctor, you’re not pretty enough to be a model, not talented enough to become president of your very own company or not worthy enough of a loving, committed partner? Whatever you think, the answer is yes, you’re right.

If you’re wondering why you keep meeting the same commitment phobic partner, why job after job isn’t paying what you deserve, why life keeps handing you lemons (instead of lemonade!) it’s because you – and the limiting beliefs you create – are allowing it to happen. Tired of living a limiting life? Then try the following tips for success, and you and your life will be sure to perk right up!

“You can’t live a positive life with a negative mind.”

Limiting Beliefs #1: Say Goodbye to Drama

Drama. It’s what most of us thrive on from time to time, even if we don’t know we do it. Stemming from a desire to feel wanted to a desire to live on a thrill-a-minute, it can range from waiting until the last minute to pay your credit card bill to waiting in anticipation for that cute guy to call. Limiting beliefs, whether you’re single or married, employed or unemployed is a magnet for limiting belief behavior. Take a good look at your love, money or health situation. What do you complain about? Is it that you complain about being single yet you constantly tell yourself you’re not worthy of the right partner until you lose 20 pounds, get a ‘real’ job or make more money? How you think is paramount to how others see you. Cut out the unnecessary (and detrimental) negative thinking in your life and you’ll open up countless positive opportunities.

Limiting Beliefs #2: Say Hello to Creative Visualization

Are you living life like the Little Engine That Could or the Little Engine That Couldn’t?  Hard work and patience are fundamental to anything worth having, but just as important is an active imagination! Do you want that $100,000 car or that house on the beach in your near future? Creative visualization, which is the practice of using your imagination to create your future reality, can change your life. Not only is it a great use of your time (it’s like daydreaming, only with more detail) but it’s the perfect way to make your dreams come true. If you want that $100,000 Ferrari for example, imagine how that feels. Think how comfortable those leather seats are, how it feels to go from 0-100mph in under 60 seconds, and how your hands look on its perfectly crafted wheel. Use creative visualization several times a day and you’ll begin to manifest results.

Are Your Beliefs Serving You Or Holding You Back – Lisa Jimenez

Wayne Dyer knows a thing or two about manifestation. As an internationally renowned author and speaker, he may have summed it up best by saying:

“When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at, change.” ~Wayne Dyer

Don’t wait another day to change your life. Start here. Reverse your limiting beliefs and drive right in to the life of your dreams.

Succcess

Are You Success Conscious?

Are You Success Conscious – Or Not?

Success consciousI remember when I first saw those memorable words “Success comes to those who become SUCCESS CONSCIOUS.” That phrase became from the famous book “Think and Grow Rich,” by Napoleon Hill. Those words became etched in my mind and really hit home with me about mindset and success, and how they are unquestionably linked.

Once I truly absorbed the meaning of being success conscious, it really made me aware of my own thoughts and the major impact they have on what transpires in your life. We all want success of some kind, whether it is more wealth, loving relationships or career successes, we all want something. But what are we willing to do to get it? It is not enough to desperately want something and just hope that somehow it will magically appear. It doesn’t work that way. You have to rewire your mind to fully accept that you can have success and wealth and wonderful relationships. You need to become success conscious.

What Does it Mean to Be Success Conscious?

I am certain there are people you know who seem to skate through life, enjoying all the trappings of being successful and wealthy-so why can’t you? Ask yourself this, what are the thoughts that are predominant in your mind every day? If you have debts, are you surrounded by piles of bills, clutter and broken objects in your house? Have you given in to the idea that this is your life and you will just go with it? If you are one of these people, then you need some serious thought transformation. You must literally change your way of thinking, from; this is my life and I accept it, to, this is going to be my life-a life of amazing success.

I think back to the time in my life when my financial picture wasn’t so attractive and things just seemed to be getting worse. I wondered why this was happening to me.  I would lay awake at nights worrying about my debts and thinking, I just don’t see a way out of this. I certainly wasn’t success conscious-in fact success was the farthest thing from my mind. I was totally focused on the problem-not finding a solution. I became astutely aware that the more I envisioned the situation as a huge problem, the worse it became. It became so apparent when I read an email the next day.

I was sitting at my desk shuffling through bills and trying to figure out how I was going to make ends meet, and decided to read my emails. My eye was drawn to an email from an old friend named Grant, and the subject line was, “how are you.” I opened the email and the first line was riveting to me. He said, “I always know you are doing and successful well because you won’t allow it to be any other way.” Then I realized what was happening to me. I had fallen into the mind trap that so many people do when times get tough. I had become so engrossed in destructive thoughts around a not so pleasant situation that any thought of success had literally vanished. I decided right then and there that things were going to change. I was going to change and amend my thinking, from negative to positive, and onto success. I was going to find a way out of this situation. I had always been success conscious, so what happened? I knew the answer.  I let myself get discouraged and sunk into negative thinking about a problem, instead of knowing that I could find a solution. I just had to refocus my thoughts and take action. I had to believe that just like other times in my life when a problem arose; I found the solution because I was success conscious. I believed in myself and knew that no unfortunate circumstances that came into my life were going to defeat me.

From that moment on I shifted my thinking onto everything positive. I became affirmative and success conscious. Every day I got up with a strong determination and will that could move mountains. I did not allow negative thoughts to infiltrate my mind-I pushed them away with a vengeance, and replaced them with a plan to get out of debt. Not one day went by that I thought I would be beaten, no matter what obstacles came my way. The focus on becoming success conscious restored my faith and belief in myself and gave me a feeling of power that I had not had in quite a while. I loved it and I felt rejuvenated, empowered and unstoppable. I took control. When you become success conscious you will experience a strong feeling of power and control, like I did.

After several weeks of concentrating on becoming success conscious, I devised a debt reduction plan, launched a small business (from a hobby), and my entire life changed. I literally watched as the pile of bills becoming smaller and smaller, and more money started coming in. My smile came back. I realized that success was in my grasp all along, but I had allowed very powerful negative thinking to thwart any chance of realizing success.

5 Ways to Become Success Conscious and Turn Around Your Life

 1. Become acutely aware of your thoughts – Stop thinking there is no way out. Unless you commit an atrocious crime, there is always a way out. Believe that you can be a success at whatever you do. Release those self-defeating negative thoughts and replace them with devising a success plan.
 2. Take action – As you are rewiring your thoughts to focus on an outcome of success, you will find your thinking becomes more constructive. This is the time to create a clear goal and begin the plan to make that goal a success.
 3. Be determined and have stickability-Stick with your plan, no matter what and remember that most people quit when they are closest to achieving their goals.
 4. Become very focused on your desire – Make the thing you want-your desire, to become the centre of your thoughts everyday. You will start to see that your conscious actions are leading you to your goal. Instinctively you are also being led by your unconscious success thoughts.
 5. Remember you have the power to change things – Do you realize how powerful you really are? Power and control begin with the mind. That is what leads to actions that result in success.

If you really want to gain more success and prosperity in your life, then take charge and change your way of thinking. Learn how to become success conscious and you will be pretty amazed at what happens when you do.

Believe and Achieve

Believe and Achieve Anything You Want

Believe and Achieve – Just Do It

Believe and Achieve

You may have heard it before; you can succeed at anything if you remember these two words, “believe and achieve.” Those words and the belief in them is magical and critical to your wishes and to reach your goals and success. This is the foundation to the law of attraction. Everyone has the potential to accomplish great things, but what sets those apart that reach success versus the ones who don’t, is planting the seeds of sincere belief in their minds. Once you plant those seeds of belief, the next step is to set things in motion, and that’s where achievement comes in.

You need to think of your mind as a garden full of rich soil and ready to cultivate anything that you plant. The more you nurture it and keep it fertile, the more abundant your crop will be. And that is the magic behind believe and achieve. If you allow your mind to fill with negative or pessimistic thoughts, that is allowing the weeds of doubt to literally take over your “mind garden.” Keep your thoughts focused on the magic of achieve and believe and you can literally have anything you want. How bad do you want it? Ask yourself that question and if you are serious about getting what you want, you will get results.

How I Trained Myself to Believe and Achieve

Many years ago, I became aware of certain patterns in my life and in others that I knew well. These patterns seemed to repeat themselves in my life and coincidently in the people that spent time with. It became a mission for me to understand why some people seemed to get what they want out of life so easily and for others, it was a great struggle. I needed to understand why some things appeared to come to me without much effort, and why some things did not. Certainly I wanted those things I didn’t always receive…didn’t I?  I pondered on that, and became determined to uncover the truth of understanding how to believe and achieve what I wanted. I spent a lot of time reading and studying books about the power of the mind, and the floodgates opened for me. I realized that the power to believe and achieve is in one’s own mind and I decided to put that to the test. With every desire and wish that I had, I focused on my thoughts about each one of my wishes. I noticed something that was pretty astonishing. The things that I really cared about and believed in actually transpired. When you care enough about something and can truly visualize it happening, you will believe and achieve, and the results are incredible. It’s not enough to just think it or say, you must believe it will happen or it doesn’t work.

3 Things I Always Do To Make Believe and Achieve Happen

 1. I create affirmative thoughts around my wish. Every night before I go to bed and every morning when I get up, I generate positive thoughts around my wishes. I nurture them and help them grow by actually visualizing details when they happen. I also do this throughout the day. If I want more money in my bank account, I don’t just imagine it…I see it. I see the actual figures. Nurture your desires and thoughts. This is what believe and achieve is all about.
 2. I believe that I deserve it. When you convince yourself that you truly deserve what you are asking for, it is a strong stimulant to make it happen, like adding plant food to a plant. You are adding powerful influence to your desire and it fuels the actions to launch the mindset to believe and achieve.  If you are one of those people who don’t really think you are worthy, then your wish can’t possibly happen because you are creating a barrier in your mind and subsequently blocking that wish from happening. Finish every thought around your wish with the sentence, “because I deserve it.”
 3. I dismiss negative thoughts that are in any way related to my wish. It happens to everyone. You know those little negative thoughts of doubt that occasionally seep in and try their best to take over. It takes practice to overcome these kinds of thoughts, but it is worth the effort because they can jeopardize everything that you wish for. So if any doubt or uncertainty enters your mind, get up and do something and release all those thoughts. I always turn to writing, or cleaning or walking and listening to music. I just don’t allow those negative thoughts in. I block them out. To believe and achieve, you must learn to get rid of any negative thinking. encouraging rears

The Absolute Power in Believe and Achieve

It is with total certainty that when you believe your goal or wish will succeed, it will, but not without some effort. The mind is beyond doubt the power behind making things happen in your life. If you trust that with conviction there is no question that you will receive what you want, when you learn how to master the methods to believe and receive in your mind.  To test the power in this, start with something small that you want, and work on that. Don’t get impatient because it takes time and practice. Believe and achieve is now a well known expression, but I choose to add one more component and that is; believe and achieve and receive!

Positive Thinking Changes Everything

Positive Thinking Changes Everything

Positive Thinking

There is great power in positive thinking. It can affect every aspect of your life from health, to relationships to prosperity.

Try to think back in your life, at a time when everything seemed to click around you and you felt carefree and in control. Things were probably quite good. The reason behind that is positive thinking. Positive thinking is part of good personal development.

When good things happen in your life you feel quite elated and powerful, as if you could take on the world. When you are feeling that way, it is reflected in the way you talk, the way respond to situations and the way you appear to others. You feel powerful and confident and you are. You may not even be conscious of why things are going so well, but the reason is positive thinking. It can even change your appearance, make you look and feel younger. You smile more. People notice and they respond to that “certain something” in you, in a very positive way. They like being around you because being with you makes them feel relaxed and optimistic.  Business people like doing business with you because you are projecting a positive image. Employers love people with a positive attitude and look to them with a serious eye for promotions. Lovers respond to positive thinkers because it eliminates pressure and it is a feel good experience.

It is not always easy to think positive when stressful situations enter your life because it’s natural to feel sad or angry, and thoughts just naturally seem to turn that way. When you are having debt problems, relationship problems, career problems or health problems, dark thoughts are sometimes predominant and you feel like there is no easy way out. We all have those disappointments in our lives, and its how you deal with them that make all the difference to the eventual outcome.

If you wallow in self pity or depression, the situation does not get better because those negative thoughts are driving your actions and behaviour, subconsciously.

Positive Thinking Changes Everything

You can turn those undesirable conditions in your life around, when you turn to positive thinking. How quickly you do this, is really up to you. There are answers to everything that comes up in your life and certain situations can take a little more time to resolve, or time for you to heal. But time is a gift, so use it to your advantage. Don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it and start thinking in terms of “I can and I will” instead of I can’t.” There is more power inside you and your mind than you can ever begin to know. Turn those harmful negative thoughts into positive thinking and you will begin to see negative conditions begin to dissolve.

Get up every morning and say to yourself “I can do this and nothing can stop me.” You will begin to turn those self defeating thoughts into positive ones, and within a week you will start to see changes. When you feel those negative thoughts begin to intrude your mind, push them away and go and do something that makes you feel good. Steer clear of negative people and don’t ever allow these words,” I can’t,” to seep into your mind.

Positive Thinking Brings Positive Actions

When you start to see those good changes start to happen in your life (and you will), you will begin to gain power of your mind and that will result in reinforcing actions. Positive actions bring positive reactions. Positive thinking will change your life in so many wonderful ways, so start today. Every success story begins with positive thinking.
